Influencers Compared to Brand Ambassadors
Influencer marketing is a growing market, where businesses and even individuals use one person to connect with thousands of others. This is where marketing happens, because a product or a merchandise is given to this individual who has connected with many others, in order to generate a sale. It can start from one sale to millions of sale without the need of old way marketing.
There are many different types of influencers, we can almost compare it to having a career in the medical field, they all called doctors but they specialized in different things. This happens with the influencers, some work with products, others with services and much more, and the cost can be anywhere from hundreds to thousands for this marketing to happen. This is all based on the amount of followers they have.
For my business, I believe working with micro-influencers would be the most effective strategy. Because they have a small amount of followers they connect and interact with since there are less people, now this will help because they can introduce my brand to others or they can join the brand and use their platform for their business.
I would select micro-influencers who already align with my brand values,and have interest in similar products or services.This would make their promotion feel natural, and in the long run, I will benefit with the relationship that will be built for my personal branding.
