  Blog Post 1: Paid Social Media Advertising  Paid social media advertising is a powerful tool used in modern marketing. It has the ability to reach a high amount of specific targeted audiences with precision and create an influence to an action. Most platforms like Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, Youtube and others are used to collect detailed data of the users, which allows advertisers to be more precise on the targeting.  One of the places paid advertising is used most effectively is brand awareness, this happens when short videos are used to introduce new products or trends to audiences.   Effective Ads  For this assignment, I created two online advertisements for Facebook,using Meta’s ad tools. These ads were designed with my Farmasi business in mind, focusing on skincare and hair care, weightlost supplements. Each ad uses visuals, simple messaging, and call to action. I have included the screenshots of the ads below. Ad 1 — Farmasi Skin/Hair Glow - I used the tools on the laptop than took a screenshot, in this ad I used a photo of my self and my shine hair, which I think will work great, you can see the results.  Ad 2- Body Boost - This I did on my phone, turned out to be more complicated than I thought and didn’t perform as expected. But i’m showing my legs, gym mode and the supplements.  Overall, these ads can be effective because they can each speak to different customer motivations, like glowing skin/hair.   Traditional vs. Online Advertising Researching the traditional and online ads, I discovered how differently they are and how they work, even though they have the same purpose, to reach people and pursue an action. Traditional advertising includes tv commercials, magazines, billboards on roads and newspapers. These methods have been around for decades and many customers still recognize them and trust them for a good or service advertised. Online advertising exists on digital platforms such as social media, email campaigns, engine ads and sponsored content. Both types of advertising try to persuade, but the way they do it and how consumers interact with them are different.   Goals for My Farmasi Influencer Ads As I will continue to develop my business affiliation with Farmasi, during this semester it has been intentional to start learning the many tools available to elevate. One goal is to design intentional goal driven advertising, because my business revolves around product recommendations in order to earn commissions. With advertising strategically it will be such a change to build a personal brand that can attract customers and a strong team build.
