Week Nine: Podcasts

Why a Podcast Could Empower My Beauty Business

As a beauty influencer with Farmasi, I focus on helping people feel confident through choosing beauty products that will enhance their beauty and build self confidence and empower them to grow their own businesses. In the world of social media, connection and authenticity and communication are everything. A podcast would allow me to reach my audience, in a  more personal way, closer connection, for them to see and hear me by using my voice to share stories, experiences, and lessons that go beyond what I can post on Tiktok and Facebook. Unlike a caption or a short video, a podcast gives me space to talk openly about beauty, confidence, and entrepreneurship and even invite others to participate with their knowledge, points of view and more..

One thing I learned is that in the network marketing industry, people don’t just buy products they buy trust, they buy you the person who is selling. Therefore, I think a podcast helps build that trust because listeners get to know me as a real person, not just a salesperson promoting products and business, but more about me overall. Many successful influencers use podcasts to educate and inspire their teams while reaching new customers who prefer to connect in this way. I think it’s also a great way to provide value by giving my experience with personal development, beauty routines, and success habits that have worked for me and might for others who look for motivation, inspiration and to create selftrust.

Several leaders in network marketing have proven that podcasts can transform people, can generate great engagemen, it's really a game changer. For example, top business motivators like John Maxwell and  other MLM mentors used podcasts to share business tips, motivational stories, and real conversations about leadership which by experience can change your whole vision and your outcome in the industry. I understand everything is a process, but seeing their success shows me that podcasts can be a powerful platform for education, recruitment and build a loyal community of listeners who eventually become customers or team members.

If I launched my own podcast, I would most likely call it “Glow and Grow”,and each episode could talk about different topics such as self-confidence, time management, mentality, sales strategy and tips on how to grow. I’d also invite guests like  Farmasi influencers, women in business, top leaders in high levels, that can share their success stories to inspire adn teach. My goal would be to empower, encourge, helping my audience to see that they can achieve success through consistency, mindset, and community support.

In conclusion, I think creating a podcast would be a great step in growing my personal brand and helping others learn about network marketing in a more transparent way. This combines my passion for helping others to grow,to build confidence and to hopefully build a business that will give them financial independence. I can't wait to start a popcast, I know it will be challenging to start, but can benefit others with valuable information.

Week1: My Blog Theme

Hi I'm Claudia(Clau), and this is my first blog for CSIT 155 this fall of 2025.       I choose this notable pink as my blog theme, it started just as I was scrolling over the theme page and almost at the bottom, the pink caught my attention. I did see one or two other themes that I can related to, but this was the one for many reasons. I saw the bright pink color at the top and the pink titles with black body paragraphs and it just looked perfect. This made me feel interested in reading it, because it look organized easy to read and not long, which is what I would like to transmit to others when reading it. The details are perfect and in great balance of color, not all pink in fact has a black color and white color which creates a balance.       The color of pink has always resonated with myself, the color itself is a bright and certainly it's not easily mistaken for another color. The color pink makes you feel a sense of happi...

Week Five- FaceBook Page

FaceBook Page     Setting up this new Facebook page, yes, it was a little bit challenging. I remember I did this already, but it has been a few years, and now it looked different; it had fewer steps,I still had to follow the directions, and did as it said. No, I didn't have to set up a personal page; I just went on my personal profile and created a new page. I'm excited to learn more to use this page for my influencer business.

Week Five- Research and Post

Facebook Research      These businesses, I think they are mostly on personal branding; they are using it to share their lifestyle, products, and services. They also use Facebook to work with brands and to monetize by uploading content every day and multiple times a day.  I think they are doing great, they have from thousands to millions of followers, this makes me think they are doing it right, they have changed their lives and achieved goals by using their Facebook. It's of course personal preference, not all content, I can agree to some of it creates controversy, which is not quite inspirational for me.  I've been following this account, and they can post anything from 3 to 20 times a day, with a variety of stories, reels, posts of photos, or even going live. They are very active and stay on top of the stories list.  Most of them have a very clean cover photo, feel welcome to a family or to them, this creates trust in my point of view, and yes, they have ...
